Would You Rather Work Remotely?

Studies have shown that many American workers would rather work remotely at least some of the time, if not all of the time.

There are some huge advantages in terms of both time and money. As an example, just cutting your commute to 2 days a week rather than 5 days could save you thousands of dollars each year. There is a simple calculator here that can show you how much you can save annually by working remotely: http://bit.ly/CommuterCost.

Not everyone is suited for working remotely: you have to be self-motivated and a serious self-starter. But if you are, talk to your company about that option. They might be more open to the idea that you think.
